Where Millennials + Gen-Z Plan for an Earlier & Wealthier Retirement
Millennials and Gen-Z need to rethink retirement by using alternative investing strategies that make their money work harder. The current Plan A (job, career, savings, pension, traditional investments etc) is not affording people a comfortable retirement. The Plan B Online Course with mentoring & tools teaches you how to build your own Plan B for an earlier and wealthier retirement.

Why We Need a Plan B
- 80% don't believe that traditional investments can help us to retire.
- We are the first generations to be poorer than our parents.
- Our pensions are being delayed, decreased, taxed more.
- 74% expect to work longer than traditional retirement age.
- 2 out of 3 can't afford to buy a home.
- Our salaries don't inflate with inflation.
- Professional advisors rarely help with +10% investing returns.
How is Plan B Different?
We start by asking "how hard our money needs to work" and not "how much risk do we want to take".
If we don't know how hard our money needs to work, we end up selecting strategies that can't achieve our goals. With Plan B we work backwards from our goal, find viable strategies and then learn how to minimise any risks. As a starting point, we highlight over 40 alternative (non trading) strategies that return over 10% with many around 20-30%. Users often mix, match, merge and adapt strategies to create their own personal Plan B.
The Plan B Course views retirement through an entrepreneurial lens. A good plan must be:
1) Desirable - do i want it?
2) Viable - is it possible?
3) Feasible - can i do it?
We highlight over 40 alternative investing strategies (non-trading) from startups and stock picking to funds, art, REITs, bitcoin & many others that will help form a good plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the focus of the Plan B Course?
The Financial Independence Retire Early (F.I.R.E.) movement is very well documented and their are a plethora of 'investing courses' on any particular type of investing you fancy. What has not been done so well, is to show novices how to take a step back and consider their overall life long goals (presumably some form of less dependence on having to work for money by a certain age) and tie it back to the landscape of investing strategies to help form a plan BEFORE one begins their journey down the precarious rabbit holes. This approach is about dealing with assumptions upfront and taking a certain amount of ownership for your financial journey. We don't waste time talking about how to live off beans to save money, but rather try to identify which mix of levers are most relevant for you to pull on in order to derive at a plan that has a realistic chance of succeeding a very attractive outcome for you. The focus is to ensure you don't go off on a trajectory that stands little chance of getting you to your goal. As an independent mentor, I am completely neutral and have no motivation to prefer certain assets or strategies or timelines. It's about gaining awareness around what this investment game is all about and then you choosing how it might be best for you to play that game. Once you have your Plan, you'll know what you need to learn next.
What happens once I sign up?
After signing up you will receive access to the Plan B online course. Soon thereafter you will be notified about upcoming scheduled mentoring sessions (online) where you can chose to join and discuss any aspects of the course and tools in more detail. You don't have to wait until you have finished the course to join. These sessions are led by Jan directly so you will get face time with him and also meet other Plan B participants.
Do I need to invest any money?
You don't need to invest anything at any time. This is about investing into your education and preparing yourself to make some solid decisions once the right opportunities for you arise.
Who owns Plan B?
Plan B is the brand name for investing related educational content owned by Jan Kennedy of Kennedy Holdings GmbH registered in Mammendorf, outside Munich in Germany. Jan's personal investing strategy covers startups, growth stocks, property, crypto and funds.

Why Plan B?
If I could go back and talk to my younger 22 year old self, I'd probably tell him he had to invest 15% of his net income, into a mix of low cost passive index funds, regardless. That would virtually guarantee him to retire comfortably at some point in his fifties and enjoy his golden years with out any concerns!
But most of us did not get that advice or we did not adhere to it. Even if we got better than average paying jobs, or created successful businesses, or inherited money, did we at some point put enough extra to one side to catch up? Unfortunately, most of us did not and even with the money we did put aside, it is not working hard enough for us (most pensions and mutual funds are earning 4.6% instead of 10% in passive index funds).
So many of us face (or choose not to face) this real dilemma of not having enough to sufficiently support ourselves when we stop working. If we can ever retire, we are in danger of retiring poor and we are running out of time - tick tock, tick tock! I find this a catastrophe. We work hard all our lives, trying to do the right things, but we never managed to make money work for us. But did we ever truly try to learn? Or did we neglect that area of our lives, repeatedly pushing it to one side and ignoring it? Or did we rely on someone else to make those decisions for us without us fully understanding them?
It's only when we have a sudden appreciation for the time we have on this planet (perhaps from a terminal diagnosis or from receiving a windfall when we can consider quitting working for money) that we step back and ask: "Do I need to continue working for money? Can I do something else with my time?"
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to ask those questions earlier rather than later? Why not make a Plan to get to that point? What if your money was working much harder for you? Would that get you there faster and potentially give you the choice to retire earlier and may be even richer? Only at 30 did I start to think like this and learn what methods could get me there. Before 40, my wife and I retired early to enjoy our 3 kids and spend time on passion projects rather than "trading time for money".
